They keep screwing with me.  Getting my hopes up and dashing them.  First it was the Montauk Monster which is probably either a raccoon or some sort of publicity stunt for an upcoming movie.  Now two Georgia men are claiming they have evidence that Bigfoot exists.

They claim to have shot a 7 foot, 7 inch creature in the woods of Georgia which is Bigfoot.  They are holding a press conference today to show DNA evidence and some photos.  However, they won’t actually be producing Bigfoot itself. 

Now Bigfoot enthusiasts all remember the grainy video of the alleged sasquatch walking across a clearing in the woods.  He (or she) looks back at the camera and gives a listless wave.  From the photos I have seen of the current Bigfoot, the photo of the creature stuffed in a refrigerator looks very similar to the Bigfoot in the beef jerky commercials.  They also claim there are a whole den of these bad boys somewhere but they don’t want them to be disturbed so they won’t disclose the location.  That is very humanitarian of them considering they have already busted a cap in one of them.    

Now I wanted to do some research on the subject so I went to www.bfro.net which is the Bigfoot Field Researcher’s Organization website.  They are claiming that this particular Bigfoot scenario is a hoax.  However, as I was looking at their website, it shows all of the places where Bigfeet have been spotted.  There are a lot of freaking sightings of this thing for no one to actually catch or shoot one.

Now I have mentioned shooting one on two different occasions.  The “researchers” who claim to have captured one said they shot it.  Why did they shoot it?  While I know that people are regularly attacked by bears, I don’t know of one instance of someone being attacked by a Bigfoot.  I’m sure if you asked it nicely, it would probably come along peacefully.    

I’m sure this is probably some sort of publicity stunt for a new reality show or just a garden variety hoax.  Stop messing with me.  Either show me definitive proof Bigfoot or something else exists, or go away.  If you need attention, get a dog.  Get a Bigfoot for all I care.  Just make sure it is real.
